OUR STORY, VISION & APPROACH
What we believe shapes what we build.
Our principles connect the people, places and living landscapes across every Stonecraft community.
01
WHO WE ARE
Rooted in Hyderabad
Stonecraft Group is a multidisciplinary real estate firm that develops eco-conscious projects. Based in Hyderabad, the company has sold over 10,00,000 sq. yds. over the past 17 years. Houses are built for generations, and with this mindset, projects are developed with natural resources and long-lasting materials.
The company’s seeds were sown on the land in Hyderabad, one of the fastest developing cities in the country. We believe in creating a positive balance favouring nature with our ventures, from our celebrated farm plots to our Assisted Senior Living project. Stonecraft is best known for building the world’s largest self-sustaining Miyawaki Forest at Woods Shamshabad.
02
OUR VISION
Building for generations
Stonecraft Group does not promote sustainability on paper – for us, it is our belief, identity and vision. We believe in creating a legacy through sustainable, long-lasting projects that reflect our deep respect and love for nature.
Our motto, “Building Projects That Last for Generations”, encapsulates our approach. We are committed to using natural and renewable materials across all our projects, ensuring each is luxurious and environmentally responsible.
03
OUR PHILOSOPHY
A balance between people and nature
We aim to build projects that provide our clients with quality, luxury and a sustainable environment. We believe in harmonising human living with nature and every project reflects our commitment to co-existence with the environment.
Our projects are built on four core pillars: Power Management, Water Management, Soil Management and Climate Management – ensuring a balance between modern living and environmental responsibility.
04
PILLAR 1 OF 4
Power
Passive cooling, natural light and renewable energy.
All Stonecraft plots are equipped with solar panels. Passive-cooling materials and power-harnessing technologies help each project use resources more efficiently, with lower energy costs and less strain on non-renewable supply.
05
PILLAR 2 OF 4
Water
Percolation, rainwater harvesting and reuse.
Instead of small percolation pits, entire landscapes work as water-percolation systems. Rainwater seeps into the ground, replenishing aquifers and reducing runoff.
06
PILLAR 3 OF 4
Soil
Soil enrichment and tree-root ecosystems.
Existing soil is enriched and custom soil mixes are developed for mature trees, supporting deeper roots and stronger plant ecosystems.
07
PILLAR 4 OF 4
Climate
Shade, planting and microclimate.
Natural materials and dense greenery regulate the microclimate. We describe our sites as around 4 degrees cooler than the city.
Woods Shamshabad brings homes and a Miyawaki forest together in one nature-led community. The forest has approximately 4,50,000 trees (4.5 lakh) planted.
